This page will help you integrate AuthAnvil into DeskDirector.
1. Add your Server URL
Head over to your Admin Console ( https://yourcompany.deskdirector.com/Admin ), then the Integrations tab > AuthAnvil.
On this page, you just need to put in your Server Address. An example of this would be:
In most cases the Site ID is 1
When you click Save Settings, it will automatically test to make sure the url is correct.
2. Test with your Username
To test with your user, enter your AuthAnvil username and Two Factor Token. Your two factor token is your PIN followed by the AA token you are assigned, for example:
If your PIN is 1234 and your token is 098765, then this would be 1234098765
3. Enable Two Factor Authentication for Members
Head over to the Member Security tab (for ConnectWise customers) or Maintain/Impersonate Contacts tab (Autotask customers) under Access Control on the Admin Console.
For each user you want AuthAnvil active for, you must select that member and tick the box entitled "Two Factor Auth" and Save.
Now whenever this user tries to log into the Staff HUD, they will be prompted for their AuthAnvil token.
